Aims and scope

Journal of Diabetes & Metabolic Disorders is an open access, peer reviewed journal which publishes original clinical and translational articles and reviews in the field of endocrinology and provides a forum of debate of the highest quality on these issues. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, diabetes, lipid disorders, metabolic disorders, osteoporosis, interdisciplinary practices in endocrinology, cardiovascular and metabolic risk, aging research, obesity, traditional medicine, pychosomatic research, behavioral medicine, ethics and evidence-based practices.

Shaillay Dogra is an Applied Bioinformatican with a deep interest in solving Biomedical problems. He has more than 11 years of research experience in government research organization (A*STAR, Singapore), big pharmaceutical company (Eli Lilly, Singapore), and biotech start-up (Strand Life Sciences, Bangalore). He is an Alumnus of Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and All India Insitute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. Article-processing charges

Journal of Diabetes & Metabolic Disorders is supported by Tehran University of Medical Sciences. The article-processing charge (APC) that is payable upon editorial acceptance of an article is €850. Further details on the APC are available here.

Note for Iran-based authors

For authors based in Iran a discounted APC of €700 and a special mechanism for covering the APC apply. Iran-based authors should enter the code JDMD01 during the article submission process. If this code is used, Iran-based authors do not pay an APC to the publisher; instead, TUMS arranges payments with the publisher and will invoice the APC, payable in Iranian Rials, to the authors.
